You Know You Want One.

Today was all-in-one and all-in-two day!
I think these are my favorite kind, no stuffing or folding is required!  They go on just like a disposable but are way cuter and better for the environment.
Two of the diapers that we used today were included in my trial package from Cute Caboose.
The Dream-Eze and the Gro Baby are both from the Natural Baby Company and I love both of them!  The Dream-Eze is the least bulky diaper that we've used so far and it fit Jackson perfectly.  He took a small coma today instead of a nap and slept for 3 hours instead of 1.  He wore the Dream-Eze during nap time and had absolutely no leaks.  I was impressed.
I love love love the Gro Baby system!  I have one shell in Kiwi and 3 Soaker Pads.  When the diaper is wet, you reuse the shell and replace the Soaker Pad.  The Pad just snaps into the shell and it works perfectly.  I will definitely be buying more of both the Dream-Eze and Gro Baby!

Here is the best part...Lesley from Cute Caboose has donated a Gro Baby One Size Cloth Diaper in Mandarin!  To learn about the amazing cloth diaper trial packages that Cute Caboose offers, read my post here.
The Gro Baby One Size Diaper is made so that you can reuse the outer waterproof shell many different times before washing (as long as it's not soiled!).  There is a snap in soaker that comes with the shell and when it gets wet, you simply unsnap it and replace it with a new one!  If you have a very heavy wetter, you can also add a Gro Baby Booster for added absorbency.
The diaper has three rise settings that are snap adjustable that let the diaper grow with your baby.
The Diaper set comes with one outer shell and one soaker pad.

So, you want one right?!

You can either buy it for $24.95 Here
-OR-

  23. My cloth diapering advice is to try everything. You might be hooked on a certain kind of diaper, but fall in love with something you didn't think you'd like. (This coming from the one who's been cloth diapering exactly as long as you have!)

  31. my advice for cloth diapering would be to do what works for you - so many people have their own opinions and ways of doing things that it's like baking a cake - you know what your recipe is and that's what makes it unique. Do your research, there's so many on the market and make sure you have enough, 10 diapers isn't going to cut it unless you want to run your washing machine twenty-four seven! Oh and enjoy! Your baby will love it and our planet will thank you! Did you know it takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to breakdown in a dump?? 500 years!!!!

  35. I'm actually JUST now starting out, currently I only have 3 diapers! But I have read that sunning can do wonders along with trying out every kind of diaper to find out what your favorites are!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Cloth diapering tip: make sure you're washing the diapers properly! (using the right kind of soap and a rinse-wash-rinse-rinse cycle) Our first bunch of cloth diapers had a ton of smell/leak issues because we didn't know how to take care of them and were just using whatever we wanted for the laundry soap. Now we know better, and our new diapers are lasting SO much longer!

  68. I'm no expert-but I but most one size. That has paid off b/c now I'm having a baby and can put either of my kids in those diapers and don't have to keep smaller sizes separate from larger sizes. It just saves time to to grab a random diaper and KNOW it'll fit either!

  83. My advice is the same as a few others- try all different styles. I learned the hard way not to put all my eggs in one basket. I thought I would love something that didn't work for us at all; however, it was what I asked for at my baby shower. When I found something I liked after the failure, I bought a lot of that kind because I was scared to try something new for fear it wouldn't work again. Now there are all these cool new diapers and my DH won't let me try/ buy any more even though we still have years of diapering days ahead of us.
