I wish I knew how easy cloth diapering would be and that I just had started with cloth instead of disposables from the very beginning. I wish I knew how doable using cloth is. I wish I hadn't used disposables on Jackson for 4 months before making the switch and I wish I knew what a negative impact I was having on our planet by using disposables for that time period.
I wish I knew that I could talk my husband into using cloth diapers pretty easily instead of just dropping it when he said "no way".
I'm glad I switched and I'm glad that through me, you can see how easy cloth diapering is and what an impact you can have if you make the switch to cloth.
...I also wish I knew the perfect laundry routine for my cloth diapers but I have not quite figured it out yet!
I have just started out so there is not a lot that I know that I didn't. I am still learning this whole process but it really is a lot easier than I thought it would be. I might be repetitive, but that is what I know!

I think alot of us agree! It's def much easier than we thought it would be!
Yes about the ease! We used disposables for just the first two weeks, and I am totally at peace with that choice. But there isn't much more work involved in hauling a load of diapers to the washer versus hauling a load out to the dumpster! And is it just me, or are disposables smellier? ;) Probably that's just me.
I agree with Ammie - disposables are smellier! I haven't used them, but have smelled friends and relatives. I wish I had gotten in on this carnival! I just started blogging myself, and CDing is one of my main topics so far: http://mommyandsweetpeamakeablog.blogspot.com/2009/07/cloth-diaper-evangelist.html
